Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 26 (HCMUD 26) works with a variety of consultants and contractors to ensure the district is maintained and services are consistently provided to our residents. One of the key players in ensuring our residents receive their water services is our water management company, commonly referred to as the operator, Municipal Operations & Consulting, Inc (MOC).
Residents will regularly see MOC staff throughout the community as they are reading meters, checking on maintenance issues, installing new hardware or making repairs on water lines. MOC staff are easy to identify with their logoed shirts and branded company vehicles.
Residents may be asked for access to waterlines in their back yards or see Inframark staff walking along easements or rights of way performing maintenance. The District understands that strangers near residents’ homes may cause concern. Here are some tips on how to verify that anyone performing maintenance is an Inframark employee:
- MOC employees will be in uniforms with the company logo embroidered onto the shirt.
- MOC staff will arrive in a company vehicle with a logo on the doors.
- If asked, Municipal Operations & Consulting, Inc. employees will provide a company badge verifying their identification.
MOC also provides the district’s billing and waterline maintenance. If you have a question regarding your bill or notice a waterline maintenance issue, please call their customer service line at (281) 367-5511. For emergency repairs such as water main breaks, please call (281) 367-5511.
